Open-Minded Software is the personal blog of Samuel Owen, a software developer and IT generalist based in North Wales. This is a place for me to write about my experiences in the tech industry, as well as my thoughts on various topics related to software development and IT.

My journey in software began when I realised that the field can perfectly balance creativity and problem solving.

Why is it called Open-Minded Software?

"Open-Minded Software" reflects my approach to development: embracing new technologies and methodologies with curiosity and enthusiasm. I believe the best software solutions emerge from a willingness to explore and adapt.

This philosophy has led me to adopt technologies like Elixir and methodologies such as TDD and XP, continuously pushing the boundaries of my knowledge and skills.

I am actively seeking new opportunities to bring my expertise in web development and innovative problem solving to new projects. My technical toolkit includes React, Next.js, Elixir, and Python, among others.
